Cherub WIP #2

The cherub from the previous post is almost ready for painting. I've decided to use a kind of scroll/banner (not sure yet) to attach it to the base. It looks a bit strange, but I think that I like it.

And now - a bonus:

  1. As always good work! For the banner, I think you're right. Don't know if it's intentional, but it looks like he is floating on the spot. What is your plan with the banner, how are you going to paint it? I am full of expectation ;)

    1. Hey Steve! To be honest, that is not intentional - it's just a bad planning. As for the banner - I was thinking about something like the nazi swastika banners http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bundesarchiv_Bild_146-1970-005-28,_Anschluss_sudetendeutscher_Gebiete.jpg - but with the aquila or =][= of course. Something like that should correspond nicely to the idea that the Imperium is kind of a fascist police state.

    2. Yeah, I know what you mean. I imagine Inquisitors more than individuals. They all trying to find a way to save the poor souls of the Empire, aren't they? Purists, Radicals ... Where is the difference? Who draws the line? Perhaps the banner could be a way to show which side de Lorme is on (it could even provide clues to his character) and manifest his own and personal heraldry.

Thanks for reading! I would appreciate, if you would take your time to share your thoughts and opinions via comments. Cheers!
